JAMA Neurology interviews Dr. Yaffe on disadvantaged neighborhoods and dementia risk

Drs. Dintica and Yaffe, in collaboration with Dr. Amy Kind, Professor of Medicine at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health, have published a new study that investigates the association between the Area Deprivation Index (ADI), a measure of neighborhood disadvantage, and dementia risk. Their results suggest that residing within more disadvantaged neighborhoods is associated with higher risk of developing dementia. These findings will also be highlighted in the JAMA Neurology Author Interviews Podcast.
