Early Cardiovascular disease linked to worse brain health in midlife

A new study published in Neurology and authored by Center for Population Brain Health investigators (Xiaqing Jiang et al) indicates that adults with early cardiovascular disease are more likely to have worse cognition, white matter hyperintensities in the brain, and worse white matter mean diffusivity in midlife. The study was highlighted in a press release by Neurology.
