In her role as Chair of the Global Council on Brain Health Governance Committee, Dr. Yaffe convened with international leaders on brain health in London for the World Dementia Council (WDC) Summit last month. Dr. Yaffe discussed advances and innovations in the treatment and diagnosis of dementia with other experts in the field. In attendance at the Summit with Dr. Yaffe were other leaders in dementia research, industry, government, and non-governmental organizations (NGOs). The WDC - established to further progress on dementia  - provides a space to collaborate and build a network internationally to advocate for brain health research.
